BECOME A MEMBER

Antelope Valley Conservancy initiated a Membership Program in 2012. Benefits of membership include The Conservancy News newsletter, invitations to special conservancy events, and other benefits established from time to time by the board of directors.

Membership numbers demonstrate the region's support for our work. This important show of support bolsters the conservancy's letters of comment and grant applications. Please JOIN the growing number of Members supporting our work and encouraging local government toward prudent regional planning that includes landscape scale habitat preservation.

Annual Membership dues are only $25. Click HERE to JOIN NOW. We respect your privacy, and you can request that your name remain confidential, or dedicate your donation in memory of a loved one. And while you will receive a renewal reminder on your newsletter, we respect your time, and we promise not to bug you with donation requests.

Honorary Memberships are sometimes granted to conservancy volunteers, long-time donors, and government officials.

VOLUNTEER

In the model of over 4,000 conservancies across America, Antelope Valley Conservancy was founded by community volunteers to serve our community. The conservancy is managed by a board of community professionals with relevant expertise.

Volunteers also serve on the Stewardship Committee and Financial Audit and Advisory Committee. Volunteers work on preserve stewardship and advocacy, in biological monitoring and plant identification, and in office administration. And one of the most important roles volunteers play in the conservancy's regional influence in regional planning is attending public meetings and drafting letters of comment.

What  do you love to do? Why not volunteer a few hours of your time to help the conservancy? Call to chat with us at (661) 943-9000 or send us an email at avconservancy@gmail.com.

There are also volunteer opportunities for community groups, scouts, college internships, and periodic events, such as Earth Day Cleanup. Let us know if you are interested in this kind of volunteering.

WE GREATLY APPRECIATE YOUR INTEREST IN OUR WORK !!!
